Kokoa Media is a forward-thinking pan-African children’s media company producing high-quality educational shows that reflect and celebrate the diversity of Africa. With headquarters in London and a vision grounded on the continent, we’re reimagining children’s entertainment through a distinctly African lens.

Our mission is to create content that educates, empowers, and reflects the lived experiences of African children both on the continent and in the diaspora. By combining learning with engaging characters, vibrant animation, and culturally grounded narratives, we help children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of identity.

Founded in 2024 by Anne-Florence Pungong, Kokoa Media began taking shape in 2023, when she first laid the groundwork for the company. Officially launching its first show in 2025, Kokoa Media was born out of Anne-Florence’s drive as a children’s media professional to fill a long-standing gap in representation. One she felt personally growing up.

Kokoa Media is more than a media company, it’s a movement to shift the narrative. With every show, we’re building a new standard for educational entertainment that puts African children first.
